LOGYCA receives the OLACDE Energy Excellence Award 2026 for its commitment to decarbonization
LOGYCA received the 2026 Energy Excellence Award in the Decarbonization category, presented by the Latin American and Caribbean Energy Organization (OLACDE), for its project “Competitividad logística y descarbonización del transporte de mercancías.” Recognized in an edition that attracted 155 submissions from 21 countries, the initiative combines applied research, data analysis, and collaboration among businesses, industry associations, public institutions, and academia to advance more efficient, competitive, and sustainable freight transportation in Colombia. The award reflects four years of collaborative work with strategic partners, demonstrating how research can inform practical decisions and support the transition toward lower-emission logistics. The recognition was presented on October 7, 2026, during the 11th Energy Week in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
