Professor Jan Godsell

Dean of Loughborough Business School
Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Strategy

 

Professor Jan Godsell is Dean of Loughborough Business School and a Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Strategy with a long and influential career, which has been split between both industry and academia.  

Professor Godsell has advised government and industry on supply chain strategy, and its relationship to industrial and business strategy. She has served on numerous advisory boards and is currently a member of the Made Smarter Expert Panel and Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund Advisory Group, alongside a role as Co-director of the ESRC funded InterAct Network. 

 

Federico Caniato

Professor of Supply Chain and Procurement Management at the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano

 

Caniato earned a Master of Science and a Ph.D. in Management Engineering from Politecnico di Milano. He is the director of the International Master's in Supply Chain and Procurement Management at Polimi's Graduate School of Management. He is a member of the board of the European Operations Management Association (EurOMA).

He authored several international publications on various Operations and Supply Chain Management journals, and he is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management.

 

Dr. Spyros Lekkakos

Professor of Supply Chain Management at the MIT-Zaragoza International Logistics Program and Research Affiliate at the MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics

 

Lekkakos's research and teaching focus on the interface of finance and operations, inventory management, procurement, and supply chain strategy. He is co-author of Practical Finance for Operations and Supply Chain Management (MIT Press, 2020). Alongside his academic work, he has held senior positions in industry, including Supply Chain Counselor at Clariant AG, and earlier served as an officer in the Hellenic Air Force, attaining the rank of Major.
