Learn to leverage digital procurement solutions that empower the procurement profession. Speakers Jacob Gorm Larsen and Nico Bac will cover the impact of digital in the sourcing area, the procurement area as well as in the payment area, and will discuss the exponential technologies which are changing and will change our profession for the better. We will deep dive into e-bidding and e-auctioning strategies and new approaches, and discuss how to drive adoption and change management of the digital tools and how to formulate your digital procurement strategy and get buy-in from your company leadership.

ZLC's PhD Summer Academy brings PhD students together for an intense 2-week period of learning and discussion among outstanding scholars in the area of logistics and supply chain management. Meet and exchange ideas on the fundamental concepts and recent trends in supply chain management with doctoral students from institutions around the world.

PhD Winter Academy 2020 at the Malaysia Institute for Supply Chain Innovation (MISI) is an intense period of learning, discovering, and debating new research in operations and supply chain management and a great platform to meet and exchange ideas with doctoral students from different institutions. The PhD Winter Academy at the Malaysia Institute for Supply Chain Innovation is an intense period of learning, discovering, and debating new research in operations and supply chain management for current doctoral students and junior faculty. It is also a great opportunity to network and explore the Kuala Lumpur area.

This is the fourth PhD Winter Academy to be held at MISI, and it includes a group of distinguished professors from prestigious academic institutions taking part. Each of them will lead several sessions on topics in their respective areas of expertise. This year's session leaders are Prof. Elena Katok (University of Texas at Dallas), Prof. Constantine Blome (University of Sussex), and Prof. Yaozhong Wu (National University of Singapore).

The main objective of this workshop is to bring together a group of experts, both industrialists and academics, in order to discuss and validate the research needs that will shape future supply chains in the manufacturing, distribution and process industries.
