The Ningbo Center for Supply Chain Innovation Institute China (NSCIIC) held an opening ceremony on September 9, 2019 for their new building in Meishan, in the port city of Ningbo, China. Yossi Sheffi, Director of the MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics and the MIT global SCALE Network, spoke at the ceremony along with Suzanne Glassburn, Senior Vice President and Secretary of the MIT Corporation; NSCIIC Director Dr. Jay Guo; and Ningbo Deputy Mayor Yanan Xu.
The building will provide state-of-the-art classroom, meeting, and office space, as well as housing for students in the MIT SCALE Supply Chain Management master's program.
